Meet Pastors Dave and Danielle Reyna
Dave and Danielle have served as pastors since 2014, shepherding ministries across every generation, children, youth, high school, young adults, as well as women’s and men’s discipleship. Their calling has always been unwavering and straightforward: to love the Lord deeply and to seek the lost faithfully.
Dave studied Biblical Studies at Liberty University, and Danielle has spent years as a devoted student of Scripture. Together, they have invested in countless cohorts, leadership trainings, and Bible classes, continually sharpening their understanding of God’s Word. Their passion for ministry is fueled by a desire to see people transformed through the power of Jesus Christ.
In 2020, when many churches were closing their doors, God opened theirs. What began as a small gathering in their living room quickly grew into a Spirit-led movement. RenewLife was planted in their home, birthed in prayer, built through obedience, and sustained by God’s faithfulness. Today, the church meets in Lancaster, California, but the heart remains the same: a home for people to encounter Jesus.
Dave and Danielle are parents of nine children and grandparents to two, all of whom love and serve the Lord. Their home has always been a place of worship, discipleship, and ministry, and they carry that same atmosphere into everything they lead.
As pastors, they desire to help people grow in Christ, discover their purpose, and walk boldly in the life God has called them to live. Their story is one of faith, family, and the relentless grace of God, and they count it a privilege to serve His church.
JOSH AND AMY BOWLES
WORSHIP AND YOUNG ADULT DIRECTORS
Josh and Amy are a devoted couple who have spent their lives serving the Lord. They lead our Young Adults ministry with humility, passion, and a deep love for God’s presence. Together, they guide our teams in worship, prayer, and discipleship, modeling what it looks like for a marriage to be surrendered to Jesus. Their lives reflect the power of God at work in a couple who are committed to Him and committed to His people.
CARLOS ORTIZ
ASSISTING PASTOR
Carlos holds a biblical degree from Life Pacific University and is a devoted follower of Jesus with a deep love for Scripture. He is a true student of the Word—marked by wisdom, knowledge, and spiritual discernment. Carlos communicates God’s Word with clarity and conviction, and his teaching consistently points people closer to Jesus.
JESSICA GUITERREZ
HOSPITALITY AND BILINGUAL INTERPRETER
Jessica is a woman with a heart of gold. The love she pours into her entire family, including the many children she has welcomed and adopted, reflects the compassion of Jesus in a powerful way. She leads with grace, kindness, and strength, creating a warm and welcoming environment for everyone she meets. Jessica makes RenewLife feel like home.
JOSE ESTRADA
HEAD USHER/MEN'S GROUP LEADER
Jose carries a genuine heart of gold. As our head usher, he leads with humility, reverence, and a deep love for the presence of God. He is rooted in Scripture and grounded in solid theology, shaped by years of faithful study of the Word and walking closely with the Lord. A proud veteran of our country, Jose is often the first to welcome you—greeting everyone with warmth, honor, and open arms. His wisdom, consistency, and servant-hearted leadership make him a true pillar in our church family.
TOM AND JOSIE GIBSON
OUTREACH DIRECTORS
Tom and Josie are a gift from the Lord to our church. They faithfully lead our outreach and community events, continually looking for ways to serve, uplift, and bring people closer to Jesus. Their hearts are always turned toward the needs of others—encouraging, supporting, and building bridges between RenewLife and our community. They are the steady bond between the church and the people we’re called to love, and their presence is a blessing to everyone they meet. Their love for God and devotion to Jesus is unmistakable; you can sense it within moments of talking with them.
BERT AND KRISTAL SHEFFER
YOUTH LEADERS
Bert and Kristal lead our teens with passion, purpose, and a deep love for Jesus. They guide our students into the Word, into community, and into the presence of God, cultivating a genuine hunger for truth in a generation that desperately needs it. They visit local high schools, sharing the Gospel and pointing students to Christ with boldness and compassion.
Every Wednesday, they pour into our youth through teaching, prayer, discipleship, and relationship. Their lives model what it looks like to follow Jesus wholeheartedly, giving our teens real examples of faith, character, and love. Bert is an Air Force veteran, and Kristal is a faithful veteran of the Lord’s service; together, they are a powerful team. We couldn’t ask for better leaders to shepherd and shape the next generation.
Diego and Rosiyo Guiterrez
KIDS MINISTRY DIRECTORS
Diego and Rosiyo are a Holy Spirit-filled, Jesus-loving couple whose humility and joy make them a tremendous blessing to our church. They faithfully lead our little ones every Sunday, guiding children into the presence of the Lord with simple, heartfelt teaching that helps them understand who Jesus truly is. Through Bible lessons, games, crafts, and genuine love, they create an environment where kids can encounter God in a way that feels natural and safe. Their consistency, gentleness, and dedication help our children see Jesus through the eyes of childlike faith.
Chris and Val Riley
GROUP LEADERS
Chris and Val are seasoned leaders in the faith with decades of experience guiding young adults and many others into the presence of the Lord. Their wisdom, knowledge, and steady walk with Jesus have shaped countless lives over the years. They lead with loyalty, humility, and unwavering dedication—modeling what it looks like to build a marriage and a ministry firmly rooted in the Word of God. Their faithfulness to the Kingdom and their heart for God’s people make them a powerful example of Christ-centered leadership.
GILBERT ROSALES
MENS GROUP LEADER
Gilbert is a man marked by humility, love, and wisdom. For years, he faithfully cooked for our homeless community every Wednesday and Sunday—preparing hundreds of meals so we could go out and serve in the name of the Lord. Today, he continues to pour out that same heart of service by opening his home for our men’s Bible study and blessing the entire church with fresh salsa, burritos, and a spirit of genuine hospitality after Sunday service.
Gilbert is a man after God’s own heart—steady, compassionate, servant-minded, and full of quiet strength. We love him, we honor him, and we thank God for his life. He is a great man of faith and a true pillar in our church family.
JOHN GARCIA
MEDIA AND SOUND TECHNICIAN
Johnny is a fireball of energy, compassion, and love for Christ. He brings joy, warmth, and life into every room he walks into. He leads through conviction and through the gifts God has placed inside him—whether in sound, music, worship, or creative expression. Johnny serves with a heart fully surrendered to Jesus, and his passion inspires others to pursue the calling God has placed on their own lives.
